Traka 21

The Traka 21 is an innovative way of keeping a record of keys within your establishment.  Each individual user will have a unique PIN which they can use to open the unit.  Inside the unit you will find 21 iFobs which can each hold several keys.  You can choose to put just one key or numerous keys on a fob.  The choice is yours dependent on how you choose to set up your system.  Perhaps some of the fobs will hold a single key to a particular room or cupboard.  Others could hold multiple keys to a department.

The system keeps a track of who has taken which fob via the user PIN.  Each fob has a special security seal.  In order to open the unit, the user enters their PIN onto the touch screen.  When the door opens they can only take the fobs that are allocated to their PIN code.  The Access Rights Administrator determines which particular fobs each user can take.  A fob will not be released if it is not on the list relevant to the PIN.

Moreover, when a fob is in use, the sophisticated system notes which PIN took it.  Similarly, when the fob is returned, the system registers that that PIN holder has brought the fob(s) back.  The system also records the exact date and time of Fob release and return.

The touch screen interface is sleek and attractive.  The entire system is also easy to configure using the setup wizard.  There is no need for a network connection as this is a stand-alone unit.  It also has concealed and robust fixing points for secure wall fixing.  This unit is mains operated but has an optional battery backup.

The unit has a robust steel housing.  This housing eliminates exposed hinges.  It also disguises any obvious access points for additional security.  In the event of an emergency, there are manual override and door release functions.
