Sandboxes
Our sandboxes are certain to be a huge hit with any primary aged children. Sand pits provide a plethora of educational value. Your children will hone their gross and fine motor skills with pouring, sieving, and building sandcastles. At the same time they are also engaging their hand-eye coordination as they bring their spades or containers to the buckets. These small actions are crucial to the development of concentration and muscle which all adds up when honing their pencil grip.
Your youngsters can indulge in role play and creative play as they build dominions in the sand. We have sandboxes to which you can use both indoors and outdoors. We also offer a variety of sizes to suit even the smallest of spaces.
Messy play is integral to learning. Your children can explore textures and the properties of sand. They will realise how it changes when water is added. Watch them understand how sand will not form a castle when completely dry but will pour easily through a funnel. They are constantly learning while at the same time, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
