Forest School

Forest School is a widely popular way to take your learning outside. The natural world and outdoor environment provides a wide range of opportunities for teaching. Children thrive when they can learn in a hands-on manner. Forest schools present teachers with a whole range of ways to engage children in activities. Moreover, children often engage with their peers in a new environment which solidifies friendships and relationships. They learn to communicate and work together to problem solve. It is a fabulous way to improve confidence.

Being amongst nature is well known to destress people. By bringing your children outside, you are both fostering an appreciation of nature and also improving their mental health.

You can easily incorporate literacy, numeracy and PSHE into your lessons using the tools and resources we offer. We have magnifying glasses and Mini beast viewers to inspect any creatures you may discover. We even carry items for more urban schools which includes natural elements to create your own outdoor adventure.
