Each layer depicts the ascending growth and is complimented by an increase in the number of pieces.

The base layer is a solid piece of wood, the first layer is 4 pieces. the second layer is 6 pieces and the top layer is 9 pieces making 19 pieces in all.

These puzzles aid group discussion. A challenging puzzle for either groups of children or a child wanting to try to complete on their own.
