This highly visual Emotions Carpet 3x2m features 24 different emotional feelings and expressions.  Not only does this carpet show different expressions it also features graphics with key words. The words and graphics combined provide children with the opportunity to not only search for the face but also match it with the word.

These keywords encourage group discussion but also help children to interact with one another about how they are feeling. Children can choose an expression to sit on during reading and group lessons or perhaps as the teacher you can ask the children to identify a particular face from a given keyword?
