The Busy Boats are double-sided boat inserts showing all the number bond permutations, which make 10: eg. 7+3=10 or 3+7=10. The inserts are placed in the folding boat, which has 10 cut out portholes and displays the visual image of the sum. The actual sum is now hidden.

Can the children tell you how many more are needed to make 10 and write the sum in the dry wipe clean panel?

Set includes 5 folding boats, 15 inserts and a 10 page photocopiable booklet with teachers’ notes.
