The Baby Moves Neuro Gym is an award winning, unique physical development programme, which has been especially developed to work with babies from birth. Baby Moves, endorsed by CACHE (Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education) respects how babies grow and develop. Baby Moves follows their growth at their pace. Baby Moves is fully linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and have been the winners of the prestigious Practical Pre-School Awards for the last seven years since 2008.
The Baby Moves Neuro Gym is the perfect addition to any child care setting. Each piece of equipment has been especially designed in line with recent neurological research into how children’s brains and bodies grow and develop. Encouraging children to move their right and left sides in opposition as demonstrated by babies when they crawl, has been shown to be greatly beneficial to the child’s developing brain. The black and white bold geometric patterns have been designed specifically to support a baby’s visual perception.
Baby Moves is also perfect for children with a range of special educational needs, including children with a visual impairment. All children, whatever their age or perceived ability, are stimulated to discover their movement potential as their world opens up a wealth of opportunity.
The Baby Moves Neuro Gym allows you to provide an environment where small children can spontaneously practice their new found physical development skills and prepare them for the next stage in their development. Young children are encouraged to lie on their tummy, roll, crawl, climb, balance and slide in safety. Developing gross motors skills from such an early age helps them get ready to use the small muscles in their hands in preparation for writing and other fine motor skills.

It provides opportunities for social and emotional experiences, and encourages social interactions and relationships. The Baby Moves Neuro Gym equipment is made in the UK, and covers all the necessary safety requirements, such as fire and toy safety, including migration of elements. Each piece is not only safe, but also of good quality and durable, made from wipe clean phthalate free PVC, and the black and white checked material has a special coating which repels liquids and is wipe clean. The Baby Moves Neuro Gym is an incredible modular activity centre which you can expand and add to over time.
